This week we present some concerts and festivals scheduled for February: an initiative by the Orchester-Atelier Ostinato, which works with prisoners and people in precarious situations; the National Symphony of Lille conducted by Jean-Claude Casadesus The Orchestra’s program; the Bruit Festival, which explores the intersection of theater and music; the tour of French death metal band Gojira; and the touring festival Les Nuits de l’alligator, which offers blues in all its forms.
Concert with detainees and refugees
The result of a ten-month work by Orchester-Atelier Ostinato with persons detained in Melun prison (Seine-et-Marne) or in precarious situations (refugees welcomed by the Popular Security Service or the Jesuit Refugee Service), The program is based on travel, under the direction of Chef Chloé Dufresne.
