So, who will be the first to combine artificial intelligence and Internet research? If Microsoft strikes first and invests billions in ChatGPT, the US Google and China’s Baidu just retaliated, announcing their own artificial intelligence-based tools, a new battleground for the internet giants.
So the battle will be against the new conversational bots. And the financial stakes are enormous. Just 3 months after its launch, ChatGPT has already attracted more than 100 million users, making it the fastest growing app in history. So there’s no doubt that Google will miss out on a technology that could push it off its throne as much as everyone else.
